About Trost Plastics

In 1961, Arthur Trost started a small feed and fertilizer business called Trost Feed & Supply. While visiting a supplier on business, he discovered they were starting to manufacture and sell vinyl fencing. He felt this would be a great way to diversify his business and in 1988, Trost Plastics was formed. Arthur’s children, Dennis and Ellen began to see the potential of vinyl fencing and initiated the practice of buying vinyl material in profiles and bulk to manufacture fences and other specialty items, which allowed them to provide a higher quality product to their customers. In the process, Trost Feed & Supply was downsized and eventually dissolved in the mid-1990’s, but Trost Plastics continued to grow as an industry leader. Dennis’s nephew, Justin Garleb, started working on the fabrication floor in 2002 and over the years moved into project design and sales. Justin purchased Trost Plastics in 2018 to carry on the family reputation of high quality products & service.

Our vinyl and aluminum fences and railing are visually appealing and an affordable enhancement for both residential and commercial properties. We offer a variety of custom products with decorative accessories and designer colors to suit your individual needs. TimberTech AZEK decking, which comes in 13 colors, captures the look and warmth of natural wood, but is a cellular PVC product that lasts longer, requires less maintenance, and comes with an industry-leading 50-year fade & stain limited warranty.
